about

Americana and folk singer-songwriter, Phil Pickens, hails from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He left for Indiana to study the art ... more of storytelling and pretend. After travelling through Europe, living with the poets of Ireland, eating the tapas of Spain, he returned to the Bluegrass traditions of Louisville, Kentucky for a year. Then to NYC. His music is a hybrid of his rural and urban disposition. less
